Synopsis for "Going Underground"

One week after their confrontation with the Fifth Horsman, Crazy Jane is still in a cataleptic state. Through an experimental hookup established by Professor Niles Caulder, Cliff Steele enters Crazy Jane's mind in an attempt to better her condition. Cliff rides a subway through Jane's pschic landscape, the Underground.

After a long search, Cliff finds Jane and is ready to guider her out, but before that can happen the two of them are confronted by the physical manifestation of her father, who sexually abused Jane when she was a young girl. The creature grabs Cliff, bites him in two and Jane becomes so enraged that she shatters the creature. Once she has defeated her demon, Jane awakens in the Doom Patrol headquarters. But now it seems Cliff may be comatose.
