Synopsis for "The Word Made Flesh"

A man named Willoughby Kipling is seated in a motel room when an assassination squad from the Cult of the Unwritten Book arrive and try to kill him. He banishes them to a children's illustration.

Back at Doom Patrol headquarters, Cliff Steele's brain has been transplanted into a new robot body that can feel.

Kipling goes to the Doom Patrol's headquarters and tells them that the Cult of the Unwritten Book is about to destroy the universe and he needs their help to stop it from happening.
