Injustice: Year One

Doomsday initially appears to Superman as an illusion in Metropolis, when in fact he is Lois Lane. When she died, Metropolis died with it.

Injustice: Gods Among Us

Five years later, Doomsday has been taken prisoner by Superman and his Regime. When re-education in the Phantom Zone does not affect him, Kal tries mind control and inhibition instead. It succeeds in controlling the Kryptonian creature's movements actions.

After Superman kills Lex Luthor and Shazam, he instructs the Flash and Yellow Lantern to "get Doomsday ready" for the impending attack on Metropolis and Gotham. When Superman unleashes his forces on Gotham, Doomsday knocks down several buildings and kills many people. When the alternate Superman arrives to fight the Regime, Doomsday appears to combat him. Superman flies them both to the Fortress of Solitude, where Kal-El defeats Doomsday and throws him back into the Phantom Zone.

Injustice Gods Among Us Vol 1 1 Textless

This section of history takes place in a timeline outside that of normal Injustice: Gods Among Us history. Information here does not reflect the true history of neither the Injustice: Gods Among Us universe nor the Injustice: The Regime universe, and should not be seen as relevant to future sequels or comic adaptations.

Free of Superman's control, Doomsday eradicated the remaining meta-humans. He then manipulated technology in the abandoned Fortress of Solitude to terraform the Earth. It soon resembled prehistoric Krypton. At last, it felt like home.

After a few years of exterminating humanity at his leisure, however, Doomsday needed a challenge. Having assimilated Superman's ability to fly, he headed for a nearby space sector. He had heard rumors of an opponent worthy of his attention: a Czarnian mercenary with a taste for violence. Doomsday was eager to meet this "Lobo" in battle.
