Roderick Doyle

Doyle is an identity used by several characters in different versions of Legion of Super-Heroes continuity, usually with a connection to the Legion's financial backer R.J. Brande. The version in Original Legion continuity was Doyle Brande, a Durlan trapped in human form who was R.J. Brande's brother-in-law. They formed Brande Industries together, but Doyle later attempted to betray Brande. Reboot Legion continuity introduced Roderick Doyle, a human employee of R.J. Brande who attempted to have Brande assassinated. Doyle was created by Keith Giffen, Al Gordon, Tom Bierbaum, Mary Bierbaum, and Chris Sprouse, first appearing in Legion of Super-Heroes (Volume 4) #8. (1990)
