Synopsis for "Souvenirs, Part Two"
Gabe is annoyed with Echo that he has selected a female victim as he only desires to consume the eyes of boys, but Echo tells him a girl is what they've got and they're just going to have to make do. They take her to a secluded location and Echo succeeds in cutting out one of her eyes before Gabe's psychic connection to the Corinthian warns him of the Corinthian's approach. He demands that Echo leave immediately and Echo is resistant because the girl is not dead yet and can identify them, but Gabe strikes him with his cane and he follows him back to the car. The Corinthian and Lucien's raven arrive too late and the raven tells the Corinthian that they should get the girl some medical attention but the Corinthian pulls his knife. The raven tells him that there is no way he's going to watch him kill her, but the Corinthian replies there is nothing the bird can do to stop him. The girl has lost a lot of blood from having an eye cut out and she dies, saving the Corinthian the bother of cutting her throat. He removes her remaining eye and devours it. Gabe, sitting in the car with Echo, eats the girl's other eye simultaneously much to the consternation of Echo. This produces a momentary shared perceptual link between the Corinthian and his imitator where they both experience what the other does, and the Corinthian commands Gabe to wait. Gabe attempts to exit the moving vehicle, but Echo succeeds in restraining him. Their shared perception dissipates, and Gabe and Echo continue on to New Orleans with the Corinthian in pursuit.
