Duare is a Vepajan princess (or janjong) from the planet Venus. A few weeks after crash-landing on Venus, Carson Napier spied upon the princess in a garden, and immediately became enamored with her.
Due to class prejudices long inhibit by Vepajans, she did not express her love back, but during his adventures, Carson rescued her numerous times. Eventually, Duare became less frightened of Carson's love and remained by his side.
