Dan the Dyna-Mite is a Golden Age super-hero and sidekick to TNT. They gained powers through chemical exposure during a high school science experiment, and decided to become costumed crime-fighters. The experiment charged both of them with a special energy that is released when their rings touch each other. He has been a member of the All-Star Squadron, Old Justice, the Seven Soldiers of Victory and the Young All-Stars. Dyno-Mite Dan later became his brief successor on Vigilante's Seven Soldiers before they were killed by Sheeda. Dan the Dyna-Mite was created by Mort Weisinger and Hal Sharp, first appearing in World's Finest #5. (1942)
