History:

El Gar-Kur was a criminal who lived in the bottled city of Kandor. In 1959, El Gar-Kur escaped from Kandor and switched places with Jimmy Olsen, imprisoning Jimmy inside the bottle city. Gaining super-powers under a yellow sun, he sought to destroy Earth's champion, Superman. El Gar-Kur was soon defeated and taken back to prison.
