History

Beth Deville is the former girfriend of the "Last Man", Yorick Brown. At a time when the two were still dating, Beth engaged in a sociciological expedition in the Australian Outback, exploring ancient cultures. Yorick telephoned Beth and asked her to marry him at the exact moment that the plague struck wiping out all members of the male gender on the planet Earth except for Yorick and his pet monkey Ampersand.
