Eros is the god of love in Greek mythology. In Roman mythology his counterpart is Cupid. His mother is Aphrodite and his father is Ares. He is notorious for making people fall in love by shooting arrows at them, which has brought him into trouble with his mother's champion Wonder Woman.

Eros was adapted by Gerry Conway, first appearing in DC Comics Presents #32 (1981).
