HistoryEdit

Chancellor Eschevin Gord-son was against Dr. Arkham's "psychomantic" seances for the entertainment of the depraved rich of Metropolis. In which these entertainments caused people to commit suicide and lovers to kill. Gord-son saw these seances as evil.

Then Gord-son confronted Dr. Arkham and demanded to close down his seances or he will close it. However, Arkham retaliated by sending one of his patients, the Laughing Man, to brutally kill Gord-son.
