Synopsis for Doll Man: "The Evil of Lester DuBois"

Doing routine research at the DuBois Powder Plant, Doctor Roberts discovers iron filings mixed in with one batch of gunpowder: a very dangerous situation. He telephones his house and calls in Darrel Dane. Darrel and Martha jump into Darrel's roadster and zip on out to the plant. Upstairs in his plush office, Lester DuBois is berating his foreman, Al Watkins, for giving Doctor Roberts a sample from the wrong batch of powder; the foreman goes scurrying away to try to get the sample back from Roberts, but of course he's too late. Still he grabs a small glass bottle of the powder, and punches old Roberts in the head really hard, then crashes into Darrel Dane on his way out of the room, and drops the bottle, which shatters, sprinkling filing-infused gunpowder across the floor, just before the fistfight starts. Watkins calls in two security guards; Dane gets doll-sized and starts doling out his trademark jump-up punches, taking down all three of these goons, while across the room, two other goons hustle Doctor Roberts away. Outside the laboratory, where Martha is waiting, two more plant security thugs are starting to manhandle Martha off the premises; Doll Man knocks them both down right there.

Doll Man then runs up the the plant president's office, and eavesdrops onto two important facts: (a) two other government inspectors are being held prisoner in Storehouse #5, and (b) DuBois plans to murder all of them plus Doctor Roberts, right away. While they march Roberts out of the room, Doll Man rummages thru DuBois' desk, looking for incriminating evidence and finding it. DuBois spots him and slams shut the drawer that Doll Man is in, seemingly trapping him, but Doll Man uses a letter-opener to pry out the drawer's back panel, and escapes the desk, then the office. Outside, he switches back to full size, and his costume switches back to Darrel Dane's business suit, then he steps into the office to ask a distracting question then punch out Lester DuBois. Two security thugs confront Darrel; he fights them and is winning until one pulls a gun, so he goes back to Doll size, then runs off to Storehouse #5, arriving ahead of DuBois, Watkins, and three thugs, and disrupting their plan to blow up the storehouse with dynamite. Doc and the inspectors flee, but encounter a gunman, it's Watkins, but Doll Man jumps in and breaks Watkins' thumb before he can fire. The bad guys sic a vicious dog onto Doll Man, but he uses jiu-jitsu to toss it back onto them, then does some more of his jump punches and knocks out all five bad guys. Then he runs back to the office and changes size and clothes and pretends to not be Doll Man as he reassures Martha about Doctor Roberts' safety. Just then there's a big explosion; it was Storehouse #5 going up. Darrel Dane observes that DuBois was caught in the blast, and is pleased that this will save the state the expense of a trial.
