History

Only S.H.A.D.E. agents can access the Ant Farm via a hybrid of teleportation and shrink-technology designed by Shade Science-liaison Ray Palmer. The interior of the Ant Farm has its own artificial gravity and atmosphere, and is vessel for S.H.A.D.E. City, a microscopic metropolis that served as S.H.A.D.E.'s base of operations.
