Synopsis for "Manslaughter, Part 1: Quarantine"

In Gotham, Jim Gordon is sick. Barbara visits him in the hospital, and Lois Lane comes in to interview Gordon about his first ever sick day, which he adamantly refuses. Dinah Lance is waiting for Oliver Queen at the airport, but is disappointed when Batgirl summons her for a mission. Helena Bertinelli attempts to teach a nearly absent class until the school day is cancelled due to the low attendance.

The girls go after Professor Pyg, but while they're fighting, he collapses in a coughing fit and they have to carry him to prison. The girls and Oliver analyze the strangeness of the flu before noticing that it's only infected men. They contact Batman and Nightwing who are also ill with the flu. They decide to investigate, but prevent Oliver from going out with them, since he appears to be the only man in Gotham who is still healthy.

Lois contacts Clark, but refuses to let him come there in case the flu can effect him. Black Canary goes to a pharmacy that's being raided by Harley Quinn in hopes of finding a cure for the Joker, who is also sick. Black Canary recruits her and they head out. Huntress encounters Catwoman trying to rob a store, and tries to recruit her to no avail until she mentions that the illness only targets men, making Selina worried for Batman's health.

Amanda Waller arrives and declares that Gotham is to be put under quarantine. This leads Batgirl to theorize it is an attack, so she leads the group to take down Poison Ivy. However, Ivy is innocent, and decides to help them find a cure. Later, they meet with Spoiler, Batwoman, Gotham Girl and Orphan, who are less than pleased to work with villains, but nonetheless decide to work together without fighting.

They divide into groups and Wonder Woman arrives.
