Synopsis for "Veritas Liberat, Chapter Two: Family Reunion"

Batman meets with Huntress, who tells him what Checkmate knows about the ongoing Kobra civil war. Bane, meanwhile, has finally met his father and embraces him. King Snake, though blind and starving, attacks him until Bane reveals that he is the man who broke the bat. Intrigued, he stands down and sits to eat and drink with his long-lost son as they exchange their personal histories, revealing how Bane came to be and what life was like for him and his mother in Peña Duro.

Alfred Pennyworth updates Oracle on recent developments. Leslie Thompkins confronts him with the idea that maybe Bane doesn't need or want to be saved, as Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Robin set out to do just that. The Flash warns them about the thundersnow around Kanchenjunga, and they are nearly hit by a rudra missile before Batplane converts to stealth, but Batman is unconcerned, preoccupied with teaching Batgirl how to fly.

Nightwing tells Batman he has spotted a place to land and Bane seems posed to light a flare to guide their landing, only his "flare" is headed straight towards them...
