Synopsis for "Last Turtle Standing"
Following their jolting introduction,[1] Batman and the Ninja Turtles test their might against one another. The Bat manages to hold himself well against his foes, using tricks and tools like a taser attached to the Batmobile which gives him opportunity to steal Raphael's Sai. Watching his sons fight to a standstill brings Master Splinter into the foray. As he and Batman fight, the others disappear, and moments later, so too does Splinter.
After sneaking into an arcade, the Turtles try to decide whether Batman is awesome or not and whether he'd make a viable ally. Meanwhile, Bruce visits Lucius Fox to help him understand the sai he stole, and the two discover it is from another dimension and is tied into the work of missing scientist, Dr. Naveen Khan. Tests on the sai also reveal an abnormal strain of mutagen that does not exist, causing mutants with the strain to revert to their natural state. Splinter spies on the two unnoticed.
On the docks, the Penguin displays his newly stolen Waynetech resonance engine to Shredder, intending for the ninja to buy it from him. Instead, Shredder attacks the Penguin and his goons, intending to use the engine to return to their dimension and leaving the turtles to their fate.
Meanwhile, the Turtles and Splinter infiltrate the Batcave where they intend to seek Batman's help.
