Synopsis for "New Friends, Old Ghosts"
At Arkham Asylum, Mahreen Zaheer unsuccessfully interrogates captured members of the Foot Clan. Afterwards, she is taunted by one of the inmates there, the Joker.
Back at Wayne Manor, Donatello communicates with Cyborg and the Justice League to slow the affects of the mutagen's nonexistence. During this time, Leo trains with Batman, and the group eats pizza together, inciting Raphael's wrath at their seemingly flippant attitude towards the Turtles' and Splinter's regression. He accuses Batman of being a thrill-seeker and vows not to work with him before splitting from the team.
Meanwhile, Shredder, with Ra's al Ghul's aid, activates another machine, from which Casey Jones appears.
During this event, Batman follows Raphael and brings him to Crime Alley where he explains his motivation for helping the Turtles, and the two reconcile. The pair are then contacted by Alfred, who informs them that the others have headed towards a location where Donatello found a transdimensional reading. At the location, the rest of the Turtles find Casey, who reveals that he had brought five canisters of pure mutagen with him, but they had been stolen.
The five canisters are brought to Arkham by Ra's al Ghul and Shredder.
