Synopsis for "Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham, Part 2"
After Harvey Dent and Jim Gordon saw the Argo frozen in Gotham Harbor, Dick rowed to the ship, where he found Jason frozen to death and Grendon still alive in his Cryo-suit, before a monster sent by Talia killed him, next. As Talia had Bruce chained in the sewers, she told him her name, as well as how her father documented his research of prehuman serpent sorcerer-scientists in the book "The Testament of Ghul" and that she planned to bring him back to life. After Daitya defeated Etrigan and brought him back to Talia in a prison bottle, she used the bottle to bring her father back to life. Since Bruce refused to be their slave, Ra's al Ghul declared that he would be the first victim of the "last plague", which would cause amphibians to wander around Gotham.
On Day Two of the Plague of Reptiles, Harvey Dent vowed that he would make it his first priority if elected mayor. On Day Three, Ra's al Ghul had Talia's monster rip open Grendon's Cryo-Suit because he had Yib-Nogeroth's seed planeted inside of him, although he was killed in the process, while Iog-Sotha made a plant the vessel for his gift and it became Poison Ivy. As Harvey Dent won the mayoral election in a landslide, Batman emerged from the sewers.
Twenty years earlier, Bruce walked up the tower in Gotham University before a hanged man told him "The thing is coming" and that he was only thing that could stop it, followed by bats carrying him outside. After Harvey Dent won by a landslide, the streets of Gotham were free of lizards, snakes, and frogs after free days, although he encountered a redheaded woman who scratched him while holding his hand. As Oliver told Tim that he planned to use arrowheads stained with Saint Sebastian's blood against an ancient evil, the redheaded woman appeared outside of his mansion, transformed into Poison Ivy, and strangled him to death before Batman appeared and burned her to death. Batman took the late Oliver's arrows after verifying that they, in fact, had special powers.
