    • King Cobra is not the same villain as King Cobra, whom the Blackhawks met in Military Comics #19. He is also not known to be affiliated with the female pirate Cobra from Modern Comics #71.
    • Chuck gets shot down. That's rare. Afterward Chuck will be out of action for "many weeks."
    • Blackhawk catches a metal fragment to the back of his head, and is hospitalized by a brain injury, requiring surgery. It doesn't knock him out, but it does cause nervousness, headaches, weakness, and fainting spells.
    • King Cobra gets shot thru the Electric Cannon.
  • The Spider of Delanza:
    • United World Headquarters is in London.
    • Blackhawk gets head-konked unconscious, with a pistol barrel. This is his fifty-fourth concussion.[1]
  • Last Stand On Suicide Island:
    • Olaf gets wounded by multiple fragments of shrapnel, knocked out, and is hospitalized. This is his third set of ballistic wounds and his seventh knock-out.[2] Stan also is wounded with shrapnel. Stan has been shot once before,[3] this is his second ballistic wound. Chuck gets head-konked with a rifle stock. This is at least his sixth concussion.[4] At story's end, all of the Blackhawks except Andre are hospitalized. Being a Blackhawk is dangerous.
  • This issue's Chop Chop story is reprinted in Blackhawk #90.
  • Also featured in this issue of Blackhawk was: "The Assassin" (text story)
