Synopsis for "No Easy Way Down, Part Three"

Slam has a dream that he's trying to dial Selina's number on a public telephone but keeps making mistakes. Suddenly Catwoman jumps on top of the phone and says she could never fall in love with him. When she takes of her mask, it's revealed it wasn't Selina behind the mask, but Elizabeth Craig, the case he's been hired to solve.[1]. Slam wakes up from his dream.

Slam tells Jonathan Craig that he's quitting the case. He waits around outside of Craig's residence on a hunch, and late at night, he spots Jonathan leaving with a shovel. He trails him to where he buried his wife Elizabeth. Slam asks him why he killed his wife, and Jonathan says he loved her in spite of her affairs but when she decided to leave him, he chose to kill her rather than let someone else have her.

Karon finds the drugs in Holly's clothes. She counts the pills and sees Holly hasn't taken any yet, but is still worried about her.

Selina gets drunk at a bar and decides to steal something from a museum. Batman appears and tells her she's drunk and needs to take control of her life.

Karon greets Selina at her apartment and tells Selina everything Holly has been going through. Selina immediately goes to talk to Holly and they both cry. It is a relief after holding in their emotions since the Black Mask fiasco.[2]
