Synopsis for "Captives of the Space Circus"

Answering an SOS from a boat that has struck an ice berg, the Challengers soon learn that it was a trick by aliens from outer space and are taken prisoner. They are then forces to be exhibits in the Space Circus. Forces to fight gigantic beasts from other planets, the Challengers eventually break free from their cage and free the other captive species and lead a revolt which leads to the eventual capture of the ring master. Taking the ship back to it's home planet, the Challengers turn the ringmaster over to the authorities there before being returned home.

Synopsis for "The Sorceress of the Forbidden Valley"

While exploring a cave, June Robbins rubs a mystic lamp she finds there and is soon found missing. The Challengers, going to find her discover an ancient city. They are attacked by the locals, as well as June who has gained magical powers. They are soon imprisoned and learn that June is being manipulated by the criminal Charles Agar, who explains that the gas from the lamp had granted June magical powers. The Challengers soon escape from their cells, free June from Agars control, and expose him to the people of the forbidden valley for what he truly is. With her magic powers worn off, June returns home with the Challengers, dumping the magic lamp into the ocean so it won't menace anyone ever again.
