Crimson is an alias used by the vigilante Jodi Morinaka Slayton. Her abilities include enhanced-speed, and changes in her physiology due to Kherubim heritage. Slayton took the name after discovering that her father was the hero Backlash. This was an effort to follow in his foot-steps. During this time she was involved with Department PSI and Wildcore. Eventually she retired from crime-fighting, but later returned using the name Jet.
