Synopsis for "Reunion"

The return of Lord Daalon motivates the Triarch to continue with their task and fulfill their father's wishes. At Daalon's command, the gods keep ravaging the planet and slaying their enemies. Hal Jordan rallies the Green Lanterns, Darkstars, and Legionnaires for a head-on strike at the Controller.

Meanwhile, Vril Dox issues an emergency summons for the Controllers and the Guardians to come to Maltus. After revealing the truth about the Triarch, Dox convinces both parties to work together and face this crisis.

While Daalon is distracted, the Triarch continues with their task of creating a "fertile and perfect world" unopposed. To their surprise, they see the results of their labor: a big city filled with countless residents reduced to rubble and ash. The gods start to panic upon seeing their failure. At that moment, the Controllers and the Guardians appear to the Triarch and convince them to rebel against Daalon and end this destruction.

As their last deed, the Triarch attacks Lord Daalon and unleashes their powers to turn Maltus into a fertile paradise.

In the aftermath, the people of Maltus make a monument in honor of those who died during the battle. The Guardians, the Controllers, and Vril Dox agree to the terms of their respective jurisdictions. The Controllers will take care of their renegade brother, and the Guardians consent to settle the matter of the "Mosaic World." Finally, the Controllers ask Vril Dox if he's interested in becoming the director of the Darkstars. Dox replies that he will think about it if Jeddigar leaves his chair, and the Controller assures him that it might come sooner than he thinks. Unbeknownst to them, Jeddigar monitors their conversation from his office.
