Daniel Hall is the successor to Morpheus as the Sandman, king of Dreaming and personification of dreams and reality. He is the son of Hector and Lyta Hall, who was born in the Dreaming when his parents were being held prisoner by Brute and Glob, two nightmares who had escaped during Dream's earthly exile. He later become a member of the Endless.

Daniel Hall created by Neil Gaiman and Kelley Jones, first appearing in Sandman (Volume 2) #22 (1991).
