Synopsis for "The Master Race, Book 3"

Now released from Kandor by the late Ray Palmer, Quar and his followers go on TV to announce their message to the world: Bow down to us as Gods or be destroyed. To give an example, Quar gives one of his many followers a pill that turns him into some sort of nuclear bomb. The follower then commits suicide by flying into Moscow and destroying it. A much older Bruce Wayne realizes that he and his sidekick Carrie Kelley cannot handle Quar and his minions alone. They embark on a journey to the Fortress of Solitude where they hope to get Superman to help. Bruce uses a sledgehammer to free Superman who was been frozen in ice. At first refusing to move, Kelley says "We're wasting our time with him. His people are about to enslave the Earth..." as a ploy to pique Superman's interest.
While that is happening, Quar attempts to convince Lara, the Superman and Wonder Woman love child, to realize her potential and join him. 3 days since the bomb of Moscow, Quar and a few of his followers infiltrate the Pentagon, demanding an answer to his previous ultimatum. On all the screens an armored Batman appears and says one thing: "Go to Hell." Superman quickly follows Quar, only to realize that Lara has switched sides, claiming that her father is a traitor to his race and must be punished.
