Synopsis for "Sunlight Rising!: Veil Across the Sun!"

Savage and company attack John Sunlight and his men. Sunlight and his men escape with Savage's stolen weapons. Savage finds Anders Holstrom's dead body amidst the wreckage of a plane and identifies him as working at Techtron. As a result, Savage taps the phones and monitors the computers at Techtron.

Through the computer monitoring, Savage discovers that Sunlight is planning to launch a rocket in Rakiastan. After Sunlight's rocket has launched, Savage, in his spacecraft, follows the capsule, docks and boards it. Sunlight separates the second stage of the capsule, blowing up the other as Doc Savage and crew retreat in the nick of time. Sunlight's capsule docks with the space station Icarus, killing the space station crew. Using the station as a launching pad, Sunlight uses one of Doc Savage's weapons, an energy screen, to envelop the world, cutting it off from the sun. He then broadcasts an announcement that the world unite as one nation with John Sunlight as the ruler and deliver Doc Savage to Sunlight.
