Synopsis for "Blood is Thicker"

Barry arrived at Iron Heights with Darryl and was told that his father had escaped with three metahuman inmates, although he believed that his father was kidnapped, instead. Iris, who was also at the prison, informed Barry that she was now on The Citizen's "Flash Beat", which had her follow whatever the Flash does. She also revealed that Patty left because she was scared of the Flash and that Wally was working harder on math and science in order to build cars.

Henry and his fellow escapees broke into the Central City Distribution Center for Medi-Barn Suplies, Inc. and stole boxes before a security guard aimed his gun at them. Professor Zoom rushed towards them, quickly placed a gun in Henry's hand, and pulled the trigger, killing the guard, before fleeing. Girder visited his grams in Keystone City before the Flash interrupted them. The fugitive was angry when he felt that the Flash was threatening his grams. The Flash accused him of abducting Henry Allen and Girder revealed that the escape was Henry's plan, although the Scarlet Speedster refused to believe him before luring him to a junkyard, where his metallic body was caught by a magnet.

Elijah visited his sick wife Janet in the Central City Suburbs and was later visited by the Flash, who accused him of helping the prisoners escape. Elijah informed him that Henry promised to cure his wife if he helped him escape. The Flash instructed Elijah to contact him if he was contacted by Henry. He rushed away before encountering Professor Zoom and being led to his childhood home, where his mother was killed.
