Synopsis for "Four Women"

Donna's therapist presses her to remember the events of the night of her road trip with her three friends Marion, Bev, and Cindy in chronological order. Unfortunately, Donna's unwillingness to remember the horror of what happened makes it difficult. She remembers being face to face with Cindy, who was sweating and fearful. She was pinned under something. She was trying to tell a joke to Donna, to take her mind off of what was happening, but she forgot the punchline. Donna was angry at Bev because she felt that as the driver, it was Bev's responsibility to do something to stop it. The therapist decides to take the narrative back to 11:30 that night, when the car broke down.
At 11:30, the car has broken down, and a 4x4 truck has stopped behind them. Donna feels that uncomfortable, and asks Bev to lock the doors. Despite an attempt to create the façade that they already have help on the way, the two men in the truck begin banging on the windows and roof of the car. The girls feel a growing unease, and the men begin pounding harder and harder, and more frequently.
Frantically, Donna begs Bev to do something about it. Bev leans on the car horn, letting out a blast of loud noise. The sound seems to be distressing the men, though it appears that it is aggravating them further. Angrily, Cindy gives the men the finger through the window, knowing that so long as they remain separated from the men by the car windows, they are relatively safe.
The men slump their shoulders and begin walking away, as though they have given up, and Donna feels relieved. However, moments later, the two men get into their 4x4 and drive over the car, crushing the roof down on the women, and shattering the windows. Then, the men covered the car with a large tarp. Cindy realizes that with the glass shattered, they are no longer protected, and they need a plan. With the car buried under the tarp, the men approach with sinister focus.
The women shift around the car, desperately trying to dodge the blind grasps of the men while the roof is caved in. Cindy attempts to evade the grasping hands by climbing into the trunk, believing that it will be harder to catch them there. Unfortunately, one of them grabs her foot. She kicks out with her foot, and sends her heel hard into his face, knocking out his tooth. With renewed vigour, the men grab her by her ankles, pressing the crushed roof down onto her, and trapping her with her legs dangling out the back of the car. They yank her pants and underwear down, and she tries to reassure Donna that she'll be alright, and that she can do this. She tries to joke, and take her own mind off of what's happening, but ultimately, she can't keep her composure.
Suddenly, Marion notices that her earrings have slid off the dashboard. She realizes that they are parked on a hill. She forms a plan with Bev that they hope will save Cindy from her fate.
