Synopsis for "Renaissance Ruckus"

Freefall has gone missing at a local Renaissance fair, and Gen 13 visits the fair to look for her.  While Grunge and Rainmaker enter a tavern, Caitlin gets into an altercation with a performer whose horse splashed her when it stepped in a puddle.  She punches him, and he challenges her to a joust.  Despite Burnout’s concerns, she accepts.  In the first pass of the joust, the performer knocks Caitlin off her horse.  In the second pass, she attacks the performer with a sword.  In the tavern, a waitress spurns Grunge’s advances.  Undeterred, he follows her to a control room and discovers all the fair staff and performers are robots run by two technicians.  The entire fair is a field test of the technology.  Seeing Grunge, the technicians panic and direct all the robots, including a dragon, to attack Gen 13.  While Fairchild and Burnout fight them, Rainmaker finds and frees Freefall.  Roxy uses her powers to disable the control room, shutting down the robots.  The other fair visitors dismiss the battle as part of the fair.  Once the team returns home, Lynch seems not to have noticed they were gone and reads in the newspaper that Exnon Robotic, the robots’ manufacturer, faces criminal charges.
