Gen 13 #5 is an issue of the series Gen 13 (Volume 1) with a cover date of July, 1994.
Synopsis for the 1st Story
Gen 13 escapes through the garbage chute to find themselves confronted by Threshold. He demands they follow him in conquering the world. They refuse and attack him. On the roof of the Genesis compound, Baiul directs her men to load the remaining program subjects, who are in cryogenic stasis, into a helicopter. Lynch arrives to stop her, but she attacks him, revealing herself to be a cyborg. He overcomes her with his telekinetic abilities, and she flees in the helicopter. Below, Bliss tries to seduce Burnout, but Rainmaker stops her. Gen 13 and Threshold watch as the compound self-destructs and explodes. Lynch appears with the Black Hammers, and Threshold flies away with Bliss rather than fight. Lynch thanks the Hammers for their help and informs Gen 13 that IO will be coming after them. He then invites them to join him so he can train them in the use of their powers, and they accept.
