Synopsis for "Bon Voyage!"

Yesterday, Alex Fairchild returned to La Jolla and saw the ruins of Gen 13’s house.  Believing Caitlin had been killed in the explosion, he despondently surrendered to Mr. Able and his henchmen.  Today, Lynch and Gen 13 fly to the island of Galapomoa to take refuge with Jim McArthur and his latest expedition.  While Grunge, Roxy, and Sarah go swimming, Lynch tells Bobby how they got separated when Bobby was a baby:  Bobby’s mother left Lynch and vanished with Bobby, Lynch stayed with IO to find them, and IO eventually found Bobby’s mother dead.  Later, Jim shows the team various animals who have been mutated by some force and grown to unnaturally large sizes.  He then relates how the rest of his expedition disappeared investigating a cavern in the mountainside of a volcano.  The next morning, Gen 13 and Jim explore the cavern and find an alien spacecraft hidden inside.  The aliens have been capturing and experimenting on the local lifeforms.  Robot guards attack the team and split them into two groups.  Burnout, Jim, Lynch, and Rainmaker free Jim’s crewmen and escape, but Caitlin, Freefall, and Grunge are trapped in the ship as it blasts off into space.
