Synopsis for "The Fairchild Trilogy part 1: Return to Pod Nine"

Caitlin writes in her journal about her recruitment to Project:  Genesis and her early days with the program.  Brought to the project compound via helicopter, she was met and greeted by Helga Kleinman.  As she gets on a bus to Death Valley, she recalls how she first met Bobby, Roxy, Grunge, and Sarah and how they were grouped together as Pod Nine.  One night, on her way to study with Sarah, she found another recruit, Arthur Kopit, collapsed in a hallway.  Helga and the Keepers came and took him to the infirmary and deflected her concerns.  Later, ruminating over what she saw, Caitlin was approached by a new recruit to Pod Nine: Michael Monday.  Her memory of his presence there stuns her just as the bus reaches her stop.  She exits and hikes into the desert to the ruins of the Project:  Genesis compound.  As she dons her climbing equipment, a figure watches her from the shadows.
