Synopsis for "The Diabolical Missile From Qward!"

In order to destroy the Green Lantern, the Qwardians of the Antimatter Universe have built an intelligent robot named Gnaxos, which is "perfect" because it has no knowledge of what is good. In order to lure Green Lantern into their universe to battle the robot, they send a red missile to Earth which irradiates Pieface with a radiation that slowly reduces his heart rate. For some reason, Green Lantern cannot deflect or attack the missile which forces him to escape and devise a plan to force it to crash into a barn. He opens the missile up and sees that it is actually yellow with red lights to disguise it and learns that it came from the Qward.

Traveling there, the Qwardians entice Green Lantern to battle Gnaxos in an arena in exchange for the cure to Pieface's condition. In the arena, Gnaxos changes his color to yellow which deflects all of Green Lantern's attacks, and puts him on the defensive. Gnaxos then unexpectedly tells Green Lantern that he was secretly good but had to pretend to be evil all this time. The robot gives Green Lantern the cure and they turn around to the angered crowd for a final stand. Gnaxos gets destroyed by the Qwardians and Green Lantern washes them away with a power ring created tidal wave and makes his escape. Returning to the positive matter universe, he administers the cure to Pieface, saving his life before mourning the loss of his robotic friend.

Synopsis for "The Secret of Green Lantern's Mask!"

Carol Ferris is throwing a party where she promises an appearance by the Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, deciding to see who Carol favors most: Himself, or his costumed alter ego, arrives at the party with a note from "Green Lantern" canceling his invitation so that he can stay as himself. However, when one of the waiters for the party puts on a Green Lantern costume in a plot to rob all the party goers of their valuables with a fake Green Lantern ring, Hal leaves the party (leaving a note pretending to be jealous) just in case. When the waiter allows them to unmask him, he further gains their trust and promises to make their valuables orbit around the moon before being returned to the party. However before "Green Lantern" can perform this feat, the lights go out and the waiters steal all the loot and make a run for it.

The real Green Lantern however chases after them and quickly captures them, returning to the party with the stolen goods. When Carol has Green Lantern alone, she tries to take off his mask, but finds it cannot be removed. Green Lantern explains that his mask has been treated by his power ring to be unremovable except for by the Green Lantern himself.
