Synopsis for "And the Crowd Goes Wild"

Chas tells the story of an old encounter with John and the ghosts of a Victorian father who's been incesting his daughter. John convinces the daughter that the molestation is no longer occurring and she departs to Heaven. The father's spirit is enraged and disappears with John to what Chas presumes is Hell. He puts together a funeral service which John drops in on. He tells Chas he made a "deal" and leaves it at that. After finishing the story, Chas finds himself alone as the bar closes up and John shows up to apologize for his behavior and the things he said to him. At first, Chas is still somewhat miffed, but over drinks in a nearby hotel bar he decides to let it be.
