Hans "Hendy" Hendrickson was a member of the Blackhawk Squadron during the World War II. He was the marksmen and weapons expert, as well as the oldest member of the team. He also worked as the full-time "sentinel" of the team's secret base, Blackhawk Island. His nationality has seen some change over the years. At first, he was a dutch and sometimes german. In the New Earth continuity , he was named Ritter Hendricksen.
