Synopsis for Hercules: "Murder on the Assembly Line"

An auto manufacturing plant is being sabotaged by a competitor (Wolf Stead, behind the scenes). Joe Hercules shows up, on foot, in his business suit, and persuades the plant's owner Judd Haskin to hire Hercules as an assembly worker, so that he can help catch the culprit, and help the factory meet its quota in time. A large contract is hinging on the outcome. The assembly machinery has been elaborately booby-trapped, and several more workers are killed, and some party assembled cars are smashed, before Hercules is able to shut down the machinery, and informally convene an inquiry of the workers. Before any real progress gets made with that, two cars catch fire out on the testing track; shirtless Hercules races out to do some rescuing. While he's outside, another worker gets beaten up by two thugs, who then drag him into the die-casting room and stick him into a die press. Hercules goes in there and punches them out; unseen bad guys drop a suspended auto body onto him; that's useless, and Hercules snatches the worker out of the press in the nick of time. Some bad guys try to escape in newly-built autos; others try to flee on foot; Hercules grabs the closer ones and flings them at the farther ones until they're all knocked down. The grateful factory owner awards Joe a brand new car; he drives away from this episode without ever having put on his superhero outfit.

Synopsis for Betty Bates: "Murder of a Peddler"

A pushcart peddler is killed in a drive-by shooting. His young son, Tony, is accused of being responsible by a man who claims to have witnessed the event, though the boy pleads he is innocent. Later, in juvenile court, Betty Bates announces she'll handle Tony's case and gets permission to search for clues.

In the boy's father's house, she finds a note that proves that Tony's father was being extorted by the gangster Jerry Corona, who was also the "witness" in the case. Betty starts to pocket the note, but is thwarted when Jerry's thugs appear and knock her out. She awakens in the thugs' car moments later, right as they toss her out over a cliff and drive away. Very luckily, Betty lands softly in the branches of a tree and, with the help of some boy scouts, is able to borrow a bike, which she rides to Corona's known headquarters. Corona is currently giving testimony at the trial, so only one lackey is left to guard the hideout. Betty takes him out easily, and then searches until she finds the very same gun that had been used to kill Tony's dad.

At the courthouse, the judge is just about to give his verdict, against young Tony, when Betty suddenly rushes into the court room. She shows the incriminating gun to the court and explains that it belongs to Jerry Corona. Corona (who is apparently too stupid to realize how easily he could lie his way out of this jam, or how easily his lawyer could get this new evidence disallowed) grabs the gun in a rage and tries taking Betty hostage, but as has earlier been demonstrated, Betty is a surprisingly capable hand-to-hand fighter, and she knocks the weapon out of his hands. Tony then runs up and delivers a knock-out punch to the gangster "for his father." The judge dismisses Tony's case.

Synopsis for G-5, Super Agent: "Assignment: Quanalla"

The oppressed peons of the tiny Central American kingdom of Quanalla rebel against their tyrannical rulers. Government troops soon drive the ill-equipped rebels into the jungle; guerrilla warfare ensues. General Gorzel, the rebel commander, sends off a message to G-5, Super Agent. In his pith helmet and blue business suit, G-5 soon shows up at Gorzel's ramshackle office in Qyarzen, and agrees to carry a message to the captain of an arms ship at the port of Bradlaz. Seven of Gorzel's own fighters have tried this; all were killed or captured. Working without orders or sanction from his own government, G-5 sets out that very night, with one local guide. They plod through the jungle for nine days, finding and disabling at least one booby trap, before the guide gets caught in a snare, and hanged. Blue-uniformed government troops, commanded by a beautiful woman in jodphurs and boots, emerge from hiding and confront G-5, who grabs the woman for a shield, leaps into a nearby river, and swims away. She turns out to be Senorita Jean Carolla, daughter of Duke Carolla. A jaguar attacks, injuring G-5, who kills it with a thrown hunting knife just before it can kill Jean. Over the next few days, Jean's attitude toward G-5 softens considerably, while his health deteriorates due to his wound. On the 12th day they reach the port of Bradlaz, and that night Jean's local friend old Manuel tries to take them out to the Nancy Lee in his small old boat, but the Harbor Patrol catches them and comes aboard. Outnumbered by at least 7 to 1, G-5 dukes it out with the patrol, and wins. Another patrol boat shows up, but with one well-aimed pistol shot, G-5 causes it to crash onto some rocks. They board the Nancy Lee, and G-5 relays his message, about where to deliver the weapons, then collapses. Over the next few days he is nursed back to health by Jean Carolla.

Synopsis for The Red Bee: "Flatboat No. 26"

Among the many flatboats tied up along the waterfront there is one called "no. 26" from which murderers emanate to "rub out" victims on a strictly cash basis. The Red Bee puts a stop to that, despite the D.A.'s annoying attempts to capture him. At one point he gets trussed up and dropped into some deep water prowled by a dangerous swordfish; he uses the fish's proboscis to cut free from his bonds. After the excitement dies down, the D.A. pursues the costumed Red Bee through an open doorway and, about one second later, crashes into business-suited Rick Raleigh in the hallway, knocking both of them down. Synopsis for Neon the Unknown: "In a Metropolis of Madmen"

New York goes mad! Peaceful citizens act like maniacs! Prisons are soon overcrowded! Sedate businessmen become dangerous and violent lunatics! Hundreds plunge to their deaths in blind fits of rage! Ordinary men become Samsons of brute strength when the fit seizes them! This goes on for several days; the police are a loss. One madman randomly lifts a huge safe and drops it out a window; Neon the Unknown swoops onto the scene and catches it in mid-drop; his tremendous neonic force explodes it into atoms. This infuriates the madman, who now leaps out the window himself, but Neon catches him. Landing on the street, Neon is soon swarmed by these nutjobs, but he encircles the mob in a ring of neonic rays and drags them to the police station, where there are no vacant cells for them. While the cop captain is explaining this, he sneezes, and suddenly he's in a homicidal frenzy also; Neon calms him down with a neonic ray, then notices some fine dust drifting in through the window, and resolves to have his friend the professor analyze this. The unnamed professor confirms that the powder is the source of the problem, but where's it coming from? Scanning the sky, Neon spots a foreign plane, discharging the destructive dust. Traveling on his mysterious beam, Neon follows the plane out to sea, then north to Nova Scotia, where he finds a factory, a hangar, and a fleet of planes. While three more planes take off, Neon sneaks into the factory to find out what's what. He gets jumped by two masked workers, beats them both up, then in a blaze of neonic fire, the man of mystery shoots upstairs to a private conference room, and eavesdrops as five bosses finalize their plans for bringing America to its knees. Waiting until the planes are fully stocked with the insanity spores, he makes a powerful gesture and turns the hangar and laboratory into crumbling ruins. Then he flies back to New York, which is receiving yet another dusting. Whipping a cordon of neon rays about the city, he holds the populace in a paralyzed state to prevent more accidents. Then he flies from airplane to airplane, and there are at least five of them, yanking out the pilots and demanding to know if there's an antidote for this poison. Finally one of them squeals. "Very smart of you to admit it! You will live a little longer than your fellow conspirators!" Neon sends all the other ships roaring headlong into the sea. Neon takes his prisoner to his professor friend, who mixes up a large batch of the antidote, then Neon distributes this across the city, and it works very quickly. Suddenly the civil defense klaxons start sounding; a swarm (at least 12) of conventional warplanes has arrived overhead to attack the city! Neon stops the threatening flight with a tremendous paralyso-magnetic beam, and draws them back across the sea to their home country, which is never named.
