Synopsis for "A Demon and his Boy"
A lesser demon is concerned over his fate as all the spellbooks containing his name on Earth have been lost. Without human souls he win eventually die, so he decides to risk uttering the summoning spell containing his name from his own demon realm. He doesn't appear elsewhere, so at first he thinks he's failed, then he notices a small human boy and figures the summoning spell must have snared a human rather than taken him to Earth. Figuring the boy is too small to be caught by his fellow demons, he puts the boy to work disrupting their magic so that he can take over and be top demon. When he succeeds thanks to the boy's efforts, he offers to send the boy back home, but the boy doesn't want to leave because he has fun in the demon realm. The boy frustrates efforts to catch him until the annoyed demon decides to utter the summoning spell in reverse, but all that does is give the boy the demon's power and shrinks the demon. The boy is now top demon in the realm and places his former master in a cage so as not to bother him.
