Lt. Hugh Danzizen was a detective in the Gotham City Police Department.

History

As a Lieutenant in the Gotham City Police Department, Danzizen headed the Robbery division for a period. He was never afraid to question the Commissioner's actions, but equally he would admit his error if he was proved to be wrong. He would employ new graduates as undercover agents when necessary, and cared more than he would admit about their safety.

Danzizen was a guest of honour at Commissioner Gordon's retirement dinner, given a seat at the top table and invited to make a speech.
