I'm Hot Spot. And I have a catchphrase. I'm just warming up! It's good, right? I've been using it a lot. Like, every time I'm in a fight. Sometimes I get scared. But I think a lot of people're scared like that. They just don't say it 'cause they're trying to be something. But it helps, right? Knowing you got something. To say. Right? Even if you go out, at least they'll remember you.

Hot Spot is a former member of the Teen Titans.
History
Hot Spot fought against the villain Replicant and was nearly killed before Sideways intervened.[2]
He later went to Sanctuary to seek therapy and was accidentally killed by a mysterious force that affected a fellow patient. The threat sent the patient into distress and caused him to lose control of his powers; when Hot Spot and other patients approached out of concern for the patient's wellbeing, they were fatally wounded. Isaiah's body was found by Superman who, in his grief, tried to recall his catchphrase.[3][4]

- Hot Spot was created by Dan Jurgens and George Perez, first appearing in Teen Titans (Volume 2) #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Hot Spot first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Sideways #4 by Dan Didio, Justin Jordan, and Kenneth Rocafort.

- Hot Spot occasionally received thank-you photographs from civilians he had saved, which he displayed on his piano at home.[5]
