James Jesse (disambiguation)

James Jesse is the Trickster, a member of the Rogues and enemy of The Flash. His Modern Age counterpart was a former circus acrobat originally named Giovanni Giuseppe. He commits his crimes using practical joke-based weapons and gadgets and has also been a member of the FBI and the Secret Society of Super-Villains. While Jesse went to work for the government, a teenage hoodlum named Axel Walker succeeded him as the Trickster. Jesse was eventually killed during the Countdown to Final Crisis.

James Jesse/The Trickster was created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino, first appearing in The Flash #113 (1960).
