Synopsis for "The Superman Hall of Trophies"
Jimmy Olsen has been selected to be the official guide of the Superman Hall of Trophies, a tourist destination that is all about his best pal, the Man of Steel. While giving visitors a tour of the building, Superman decides to surprise Jimmy with a personal appearance. Going to a room that features a statue of Superman sitting on a throne (in commemoration of a time when Superman saved the nation of Domainia) Superman sees that the statue is disintegrating and tosses the dummy out a window.
With no other option, Superman takes the statue's place, but when Jimmy puts a crown on him, the Man of Steel is immobilized by the Green Kryptonite jewel given to the Hall by the Domainian royalty.
When Jimmy shows the tour a diamond, created by Superman, two crooks pull their guns and grab it. Superman is helpless, and Jimmy is unaware that he trapped his best friend with the Kryptonite crown, so Superman calls Jimmy's attention by burning an SOS into a Superman shirt with his fleeting powers.
Unable to free Superman, Jimmy uses devices that replicate Superman's super powers to first destroy their guns, and then blow the Kryptonite crown off Superman's head. Superman makes short work of the crooks, and the crowd resumes the tour with the actual Superman as a surprise guest.

Synopsis for "The Gorilla Reporter"
Professor Thorne has brought Jimmy to the Metropolis Zoo where he wants to demonstrate his telepathy helmet, but can't get it to work. Jimmy calls Superman to look at the device. While trying to get Jimmy to read the mind of a gorilla, the ape reaches out and fiddles with the device's control which accidentally causes the two to switch minds. When Superman arrives on the scene, a quick explanation is made, and Superman attempts to switch Jimmy back with the ape using his super-speed to try the 56,786,934 different device settings, but to no avail.
Superman takes Jimmy's human body someplace safe while he goes about trying to find a way to cure his best friend, leaving Jimmy to try to resume his regular life in an ape body. After some misunderstandings at the Daily Planet, Perry gives Jimmy a sign proclaiming that he is "Bonzo the intelligent gorilla" and assuring everyone that he is tame.
After a series of adventures, including beating a strong man, helping Superman nab some crooks, and saving Clark Kent from a bank vault, Jimmy's body with the ape's mind escapes from the habitat that Superman built for it. Superman recovers the boys body, and decides to let the ape fiddle with Professor Thorne's device in the hopes that perhaps it would reverse the process by accident. Superman finds a way to reverse the process when he activates Jimmy's signal watch, which was the catalyst that created the accident in the first place.
Rushing to the Daily Planet to collect the gorilla which is now back to normal, Superman and Jimmy find that one of Perry White's temper tantrums have backfired on him when the gorilla proves less than tolerant to Perry's aggressive behavior.

Synopsis for "The Luckiest Boy in the World"
At the Metropolis Amusement Park, Jimmy witnesses a demonstration of a man with a "good luck turban" which apparently endows the wearer with great luck. As it turns out, the man is selling good luck turbans for $1.00 each, and the gullible Jimmy buys one. He tries his luck at a game of chance, but curses the turban when he loses. At his apartment, he installs a Space-Jewel, and then properly guesses the number of marbles that are in a jar. The turban really is good luck.
At the Daily Planet, Perry tells everyone that he lost one of his tie pins and asks everyone to help find it. When Clark tries to scan around the office with his x-ray vision he accidentally damages a typewriter, while Jimmy, wearing the lucky turban, finds the tie-clip in in a trash can.
While Superman is repairing the typewriter (using lead as a replacement part), Lois and Jimmy get a report about a guided missile that went haywire and crashed in an unknown location. With Superman nowhere to be found, Jimmy believes that he can find the missile with his good luck turban and he and Lois take the Flying Newsroom, unerringly tracking its crash site. Later, when a time bomb appears in the Daily Planet newsroom, Jimmy is convinced that his lucky turban will stop it from going off and is proven right when the mainspring breaks.
Deciding to use his new found luck to learn Superman's secret identity by randomly flipping through the phone book, his search stops him at Clark Kent's listing. When Jimmy and Lois grill Clark, he dodges their questions and walks out. Realizing the gem on Jimmy's turban looks familiar, he realizes that it's a gem from outer space that Superman brought back for Jimmy's souvenir collection and that it has the power to magnify intelligence a thousand fold, but will ultimately burn out the users mind.
Secretly switching the gem with a replica, Superman goes about convincing Jimmy that his good luck has worn off. First by making it rain when Jimmy predicted that it would be a nice day out. When Jimmy tries to prove that Clark is really Superman with a sliver of Kryptonite from his collection, this plan backfires when he places it in the typewriter that Superman made with lead protecting him from its effects. The final nail for Jimmy is when he tries once more flip through the phone book to determine who Superman is, Clark secretly uses his super-powers to make the phone book stop at Jimmy's own listing in the book. Realizing that the turban is useless to him, Jimmy promptly throws it away.
