John Trujillo is the third superhero to hold the mantle of Black Condor after Richard Grey, Jr. and Ryan Kendall. John is a member of Freedom Fighters and a man of Mayan descent who was given wind and earth powers by the Spider Goddess Tocotl.
John Trujillo was created by Jimmy Palmiotti, Justin Gray and Daniel Acuna, first appearing in Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters #3 (2006).
