Synopsis for "The Package"
Jonah Hex is hired to with four unruly-types to get a package from San Francisco to Carson City. The unruly-types mutiny, knock-out and tie-up Jonah, and feed Felix, the caretaker, to their package – a giant octopus! Jonah comes-to and struggles against his captors – falling into the octopus tank, where he quickly frees himself and dispatches the primordial beast. Jonah then takes out his captors and heads to his destination. There, he learns that the four men hired to transport the octopus had been found dead in SF – the four Jonah killed were fakes! Jonah presents the last remaining bandit to his "boss" (a circus ringmaster) – whom he recognizes as – the bearded lady! The ringmaster concludes that Adam Forepath – his most formidable competitor - hired them. The ringmaster tells Jonah that the bearded lady - Ms. Jones, would be dealt with in their own way – Circus justice! Jonah is invited to watch, only he feels it ain't civilized and puts an end to it – and Ms. Jones!
