Synopsis for "Batman"

After Wayne Williams' father was killed, he briefly fought his killer, Handz Horgum, who framed him for attempting to kill his boss, the next day. After Wayne was sentenced to prison for armed robbery, he befriended a bat that passed by his prison cell. After meeting an elderly scientist named Frederick Grant in prison, he was advised to build himself up and study bats, so he began bulking up. After a guard opened the prison cells, while entranced by the Church of Eternal Empowerment, who wanted the "hate-filled and vengeful to join their ranks."

After Wayne was pardoned, he decided to become a wrestler called Batman in order to make money and subsequently became famous under his new guise. Then, he visited Grant and had him give his suit the powers of a bat before fighting Handz in his penthouse and pushing him off of a balcony. Afterwards, Reverend Darrk vowed to destroy Batman.
