Bekka, also known as Wonder Woman, is a New God of New Genesis who fled to Earth after her family destroyed Darkseid's forces at her wedding to Orion.

Bekka is the Granddaughter of Highfather, the leader of New Genesis. As part of a peace treaty between New Genesis and Apokolips, she was married to Darkseid's son Orion. In reality the wedding was just a ruse by New Genesis as a cover for a sneak attack on Darkseid and his forces. Before the wedding, she was approached by Orion, who took her to his "special spot" on Apokolips. There, Orion gave her a special sword as a wedding gift. The next day, they were married.

Immediately after, Bekka knowing the true purpose of the event, attempted to pull Orion away from the wedding before the attack begun, but Orion wished to stay. When the attack began, Darkseid was killed by Highfather, sending Orion into a rage. After seeing Highfather attempt to kill Orion, Bekka intervened to save her husband; however, Orion died in Bekka's arms. Grief-stricken, she disowned Highfather before using the Motherbox in her new sword to travel to Earth.

After coming to Earth, scientists began to examine her Motherbox for ways to duplicate and neutralize its abilities as a countermeasure. At some point in the past, she joined the Justice League and had a relationship with Steve Trevor, telling him about her history with Orion.

  • Apokoliptian Sword
    • She was gifted with a special sword as a wedding gift from Orion. The sword was created by the best blacksmiths of Apokolips. In the pommel is a motherbox which Bekka can use to create a boom tube to wherever she pleases. The sword is stated to be practically indestructible. The sword seems to be able to absorb and redirect energy, as Bekka did to deflect Lightray's beams against him.
