Synopsis for "The 18th Letter: A Love Story - Act Three"

It is the morning after the long night, and Diana's colleagues in the JLA are in charge of enforcing the cease-fire in New Vladonia. Fury taunts Alcmaeon with his failure to seduce Wonder Woman, yet moments later Diana admits that in some small way she is drawn to him. She persuades him that perhaps he should burn the letters of prophecy that rule his life, keeping him both eternally young and eternally pursued by the Erinyes or their agents. However, as he is about to do so, Fury bursts in to prevent their destruction, battling Wonder Woman until she can be taken to Themyscira, to meet and be cared for by Hippolyta and the other Amazons. Alcmaeon, meanwhile, gives Wonder Woman the one letter which will allow Fury to retain her youth, and burns the rest, crumbling to death as Diana kisses him farewell.

She then finds out Superman and Batman's reactions to events, learning a little more about the character of each, and their imperfections. Perhaps she even grows a little closer to Batman.
