Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #133 is an issue of the series Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane (Volume 1) with a cover date of September, 1973.
Synopsis for "The Lady Is a Bomb"
Perry White announces that he will be taking a 60 day tour of Latin America and appoints Lois as acting editor in chief. Perry also gives Lois full use of his penthouse while he is gone. As Lois is looking out at the Metropolis skyline, the TV is announcing that Ronald Devon has stolen a powerful explosion known as DLN. At that very moment, Devon is scaling the wall to the penthouse where Lois is staying. He announces to Lois that he has been betrayed and demands satisfaction or else he will blow up the penthouse and surrounding area with his DLN explosive. Lois is allowed to phone in the threat to the local news station in hopes that the person that betrayed Devon will step forward. In the meantime Superman is viewing the scene through a window and reading Lois’s lips. He evaluates the situation and decides to pay a visit to Devon’s father. The father makes a list of 3 people who might have betrayed his son. Superman visits all three and decides that none of them are credible suspects. Back at the penthouse, Lois turns on the Tv just as the Nobel Peace Prize for chemistry ceremony is coming on. Upon hearing this, Devon becomes upset and yells at Lois to turn it off. The Tv continues as Devons former boss Dr Justin Trevors is about to receive his award for inventing DLN. Trevors confesses that he stole the idea from Ronald Devon and then attempts to shoots himself in the head before Superman blocks the bullet. Devon is vindicated but he is hauled away under arrest for making his threats.
