Synopsis for "The Girl with the Golden Arm!"
Lois Lane goes on a gambling spree as a stunt for the Daily Planet, but racks up an incredible streak of wins, all of it part of a gang's scheme to smuggle out "hot money".
When this story was published, the days of the "legal casino" were far in the future and the story was set in Las Vegas,Nevada and Princess Grace Kelly's Monaco.
The gambling binge was to prove "Only Suckers Bet" and to debunk the numerous good luck charms that gamblers carry. But one of them,a pendant necklace, stops a bullet that otherwise would have killed Lois.
Jerry Lewis and Bob Hope(as portrayed in their DC COMIC books) made cameo appearances
