A tough-as-nails police detective, Leocadio runs the Metropolis Special Crimes Unit, taking her job quite seriously and caring deeply for her comrades.
History
To this end, she often gets emotional during her job, sometimes threatening criminals or perceived enemies. Leocadio considers Superman a necessity and is grateful for all that he has done, but nonetheless considers him one of her "deputies" and dislikes it when he makes demands of her or her team. Despite this, she has demonstrated a noticeable attraction to the man of steel, often flirting with him to the point of making sexual advances of him.
