Synopsis for "Manhunted, Part 5: The Devil Inside"
The OMAC agent uses its sonic disruptors to propel Kate out of the structure then it initiates its Manhunter tech elimination protocol. Fortunately, Kate lands on Cameron's car which breaks her fall. Dylan and Cameron arrived just in the nick of time. Dylan pops open his truck and a Black Manta harpoon launcher appears. Kate ties the rope end of the harpoon to her gauntlet and holds Cameron close. Dylan activates the launcher and both women are propelled back to the towering structure where Shaw is being held by the OMAC. Both Cameron and Kate take a few shots at the OMAC agent. They notice that the agent bleeds. Kate uses her bo staff to blast off the facial armor of the OMAC agent and Cameron recognizes Agent Wayne. In a fit of rage for being played, Cameron uses her untapped metahuman powers to cause an electromagnetic disruption for the OMAC agent.
Kate goes to check on Shaw and Shaw starts to figure out why the OMAC agent is after him. The government is using the OMAC project to bury the Manhunter program due to its many failures and because the program is obsolete. Cameron tells Shaw that the circuitry that links him to the Manhunter program is behind his neck. Shaw reacts by using his dagger to make an incision and rips out the circuitry. The OMAC agent comes to and deactivates when it scans Shaw but can't locate the link to the Manhunter program. The OMAC agent leaves the scene while the others tend to Shaw. Dylan and Kate load up Shaw into Dylan's car while Cameron calls Director Bones. Cameron informs the director that they have a leak within the DEO and the OMAC project is behind it.
Kate and Cameron inform Shaw that he won't be prosecuted or transferred to a federal prison like Belle Reve. Kate tells Shaw that he needs to remain low for the time being until Cameron can get things sorted out with the DEO and expose the players behind the OMAC project as well as those responsible for manipulating Shaw into killing his predecessors. Kate tells Dylan that Shaw will be his new roommate to which Dylan reluctantly agrees. Kate then heads to Peter's home to see Ramsey. Ramsey leaps into his mother's arms and Kate puts him to bed. Peter and Kate lock eyes with one another when Ramsey falls asleep. They embrace each other with a passionate kiss and start to make love in Peter's bedroom.
